Testing

Dear Parents,

March 30th begins our state MAP testing in the area of Communication Arts and Mathematics. We are testing the mornings of March 30, 31, and April 1 for Communication Arts. Math will be tested April 13, 14, and 15. Please make sure your child arrives to school on time. If possible, please do not schedule any doctor’s appointments during these six testing days.

It would be very beneficial if the students get to bed early and eat a well balanced breakfast in the morning. I encourage each child to bring in a water bottle during the days of testing.

We will take a break each day of testing to stretch and enjoy a snack. To ensure that each child will have a snack, we will make a trail mix. If it is possible, could you please send a food item to school by March 29 that we could use to add to our trail mix? Any snack item works well (cereal, M&M’s, raisins, chips, cookies, Swedish Fish, etc.). I would like to thank you in advance for providing a snack. Since we have a nut allergy, please avoid peanut items.
