Today we used our Science composition notebooks to observe nature. Our only instructions were to sit silently and observe nature in our notebooks. I asked the students to bring out colored pencils and a pencil for writing. They paid so much attention to the details and really worked to use all of their senses as scientists. These photos are amazing! And they are natural-we didn't even have to pose. :)
