A Terrific Tuesday-Reading Class







Today we talked about the various genres that readers might find in fiction reading. These include realistic fiction, science fiction, historical fiction, fantasy, and mystery. We identified the characteristics of each genre and then classified books from each genre. As your child is reading, he or she should be able to tell you what genre the book is from. Here are some photos of this activity.
